Dr. Menzo Havenga (President & Chief Executive Officer)

Dr. Menzo Havenga is a member of the Management Committee of Batavia Bioservices. Prior to that he was at TNO where he assumed the position of Managing Director Business unit Biosciences being responsible for strategy and day-to-day management of a large R&D organization. From 2001 to 2007 he was Vice president Research and subsequently Vice president Research and Development at Crucell, The Netherlands. From 1994 to 2001 he was Senior scientist and subsequently Director Research at IntroGene B.V. The Netherlands. He holds a PhD degree from the University of Leiden, the Netherlands. Within Batavia Bioservices, Menzo is responsible for the general management and strategy of the company.

Dr. Christopher Yallop (Chief Operations and Scientific Officer)

Dr. Christopher Yallop is a member of the Management Committee of Batavia Bioservices. Prior to that he was at TNO where he assumed the position of Head of biopharmaceutica development. From 2002 to 2008 he was Director and subsequently Senior Director Protein R&D at Crucell, The Netherlands. From 1996 to 2002 he was Senior Scientist Protein development at Novo Nordisk in Denmark. Prior to that he assumed positions at GSK and Genzyme. He holds a PhD degree from the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom. Within Batavia Bioservices Chris is responsible for the operational and scientific direction of the company.
